Anxiety.

Anxiety is a feeling that is often characterized by intense fear, worry, and sense of feeling paralyzed. It is important to note that experiencing anxiety is not necessarily a bad thing. Anxiety acts as a warning sign or protective mechanism, and it can also motivate us to accomplish important tasks. I tailor my treatment approach to help you find relief from your symptoms so that you can live a more peaceful life.

 

Relationships.

If you’re struggling with a relationship in your life it can feel incredibly overwhelming. Whether it be you’re going through a breakup, dealing with marital issues, wanting to work on a friendship or romantic relationship dynamic, or navigating dating in a big city, I am here to support you. I will help you establish healthy boundaries, strengthen interpersonal communication skills, and assist you in identifying and changing patterns that may not be working for you.

Depression.

Struggles such as feeling worthless, incompetent, mood instability, sense of not feeling good enough, not being comfortable being single, not feeling happy with your career or job path, or not feeling like you’re living the life you desire. I will help you identify the root cause of your depression, while providing you with practical tools to help you manage it.

 

Self-Esteem.

Self-esteem is a direct contributor to overall well-being. In the age of social media, we are often bombarded with unrealistic images of what things ‘should’ look like. A large component of my work with clients is helping them feel confident within themselves. Monitoring negative self-talk, learning self-compassion, and personalized goal setting are some techniques I implement in sessions.
